The Respiratory Therapist assesses patients, performs diagnostics, and administers prescribed therapy based on physician orders. They may also operate various medical equipment and perform cardiology-related tasks as deemed competent.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapist educational program and hold current licensure in Georgia. Additional certifications such as RRT, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS are required or must be obtained shortly after hire.
Night - 12 Hour (United States of America)7p-7a, FT I.
Assesses patients, performs diagnostics, assists, and consults with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Administers the prescribed therapy to patients based on physician orders. May also be required to become proficient in the operation of Pulmonary Lab, cardiovascular and neurology equipment and in the performance of related duties except where additional licensure is required. Will perform in areas of cardiology including electrocardiograms, echocardiography, cardiac and pulmonary stress testing, and electroencephalography where deemed competent. II.
