The Radiation Therapist will work under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist to run CT simulators and deliver routine courses of treatment. They will also be responsible for machine warm-ups and communicating effectively with patients and families.
Candidates must have a vocational/technical degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program. Certification as a Radiation Therapist from the ARRT and Basic Life Support certification are required within specified timeframes.
