The Physical Therapy Assistant provides therapy treatment to patients with various impairments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. They adhere to policies and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Candidates must have an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant and be licensed or licensure-eligible in New Mexico. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and one year of related experience is preferred.
Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities, and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
