Job Summary

Work Schedule

• (5) 8-hour shifts; on call & holiday rotation Assists surgical team during operative procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms. The Surgical Technician is responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

• Education Requirements Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• 2 year/Associate Degree - OR - combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate Degree Certification and Licensure BLS Certification Located in Phoenixville, PA, and a member of Tower Health, Phoenixville Hospital is a 144-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach programs.
