This position is a hospital-based position that will primarily provide inpatient care and manage the care of acute or critically ill patients.
This position will perform endoscopy generated from the emergency department and the inpatient consult service.
An ideal candidate should be competent in basic upper and lower endoscopy, enteral access (PEG placement), and management of GI emergencies such as upper and lower GI bleeding, food impactions, and management of volvulus.
