Radiology Technologists operate various x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures under the direction of a radiologist or supervisor, demonstrating progressive knowledge in daily department operations. They may also be required to assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and rotational call.
Candidates must be graduating from an accredited radiologic technology school in Spring 2026 and must obtain State of Vermont or New York licensure prior to the start date, along with ARRT Certification. Eligibility or existing certification from professional organizations like ARDMS or NMTCB is required for specialized modalities.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST JOB DESCRIPTION: Radiology Technologists will demonstrate progressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of a radiologist, supervisor, and lead technologists. Our Xray Techs assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed. Radiologic Technologists may be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis. RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JRCERT. Licensed with the State of Vermont or State of New York to practice in Radiology prior to start date. ARRT Certification will be required as well.
