The technologist performs neurodiagnostic procedures such as EEGs, long-term video monitoring, and evoked potentials while ensuring patient safety. They are responsible for documenting information in medical records and assisting with the patient billing process.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of electroneurodiagnostic experience or graduation from an accredited program. The role requires adherence to ABRET/ACNS guidelines and the ability to maintain institutional competencies.
