Implements and evaluates clinical pharmacy services within psychiatry, focusing on safe and effective medication use. Collaborates with medical staff to direct Medication Usage Evaluations and manage the hospital's formulary.
Requires a Bachelor of Pharmacy with a 1-year residency and a current New York State Pharmacist license. A PharmD with a PGY2 Psychiatry Residency and BCPP certification is highly preferred.
Implements, coordinates, and evaluates all clinical Pharmacy services. Assists and directs Medication Usage Evaluations, collaborates with the medical staff, and establishes criteria for the safe, effective and appropriate use of medication.
