Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and hold a CPC or CCS-P certification. A minimum of two years of practical coding experience is required.

Works from the appropriate documentation in the medical record. Classification systems include ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, as well as other specialty systems as required by diagnostic category. This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with established coding guidelines and regulations to guarantee proper reimbursement.
High School Diploma or GED Certification Certified Professional Coder - CPC Or Certified Coding Specialist Physician - CCS-P Work Experience and
Minimum of two (2) years in practical coding experience is required. Coders are held to high standard; best practices are to achieve a greater than 95%25 accuracy rate during coding assessments.
