The Behavioral Health Technician will monitor residents overnight to ensure their safety and well-being, conduct routine checks, and maintain accurate documentation. This role also involves supporting residents with treatment plans, assisting with crisis intervention, and communicating effectively with clinical staff during shift changes.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, with an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, and must be able to remain alert during overnight hours. Required qualifications include strong interpersonal and communication skills, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
High school diploma or GED. Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or Behavioral Health field is a plus. Demonstration of group facilitation skills, knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis and treatments. Crisis intervention skills. Handle with Care training/certification preferred, but will train.
