$25 - $30 / HOUR
Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures while ensuring hospitalized patients receive the best possible care. Responsibilities include venipuncture, administering medications, and monitoring anesthesia.
Candidates must have valid RVT credentials in California and possess proficient computer and communication skills. A love for animals and the ability to multitask are also essential.
Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and procedures Venipuncture and IVC placement Administer SQ fluids, medications, etc. Work in conjunction with all technical staff across the hospital to ensure hospitalized patients are receiving the best possible care and communicating frequently with the team. Recognize subtle change in clinical status Discharge instructions with clients Complete estimates, basic record keeping Surgical preparation Anesthesia monitoring Advanced Phlebotomy Monitoring Ventilator Cases Apheresis Diagnostic imaging (radiographs and assisting with ultrasounds)
RVT Credentials valid in California ICU experience preferred Proficient computer skills Outstanding communication skills Interpersonal skills Ability to multitask Love for animals
