The Pediatric Psychiatrist is responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing comprehensive behavioral health services, including therapy and psychopharmacology. The role involves active participation in multi-disciplinary treatment planning and ensuring high-quality patient care documentation.
Candidates must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree and be board certified or board eligible. Applicants must also be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of West Virginia.
Shenandoah Community Health (SCH) is recruiting a Pediatric Psychiatrist for a full time outpatient position to serve our growing Behavioral Health Services Team in Martinsburg, WV.

This position is primarily responsible for the psychiatric evaluation of assigned patients in the clinical program. Services may include individual, group or family therapy, psychopharmacology and consultation. Services are provided primarily in office with some telehealth available.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned area. The skills and knowledge needed to provide such may be gained through education, training and experience.
