The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for designing, monitoring, and dispensing optimal drug therapy within the Oncology Infusion Center and Inpatient Hematology Oncology unit. They also direct support staff, participate in medical rounds, and ensure compliance with hospital and federal medication management requirements.
Candidates must hold a BS degree in Pharmacy and a valid State of Connecticut Pharmacist License, with BLS certification required. Preferred qualifications include a PharmD, completion of a pharmacy residency, and board certification in a specialty area.
