The Funeral Director and Embalmer will meet with families to arrange services and oversee visitations, funerals, and graveside ceremonies. They are also responsible for performing embalming procedures and maintaining facility compliance with state regulations.
Candidates must hold an active Texas Funeral Director License and an active Texas Embalmer License. A valid Texas driver's license and the ability to pass a background check and drug screening are also required.

This organization is seeking a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer to join their team during a period of growth and transition. This role is ideal for a dual Texas-licensed professional who values compassion, teamwork, and serving families with dignity and professionalism.
Meet with families to arrange funeral, memorial, burial, and cremation services Direct and oversee visitations, funerals, and graveside services Perform embalming and preparation of remains in accordance with Texas regulations Complete required documentation, including death certificates and permits Coordinate with clergy, cemeteries, crematories, florists, and vendors Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays Maintain preparation rooms, facilities, and equipment Work collaboratively with a team-oriented staff to meet family needs Ensure compliance with all state, local, and professional standards
