Our company is continuing to grow, and we are looking for Infusion Centers Nurse Practitioner to support our centers in CA.
The Clinivoy Infusion Centers Nurse Practitioner will use a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to provide direct patient care and coordinate infusion and injection activities in compliance with professional practice and clinical standards in an outpatient setting.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct an initial clinical screening with each new patient to review their medical history prior to receiving their first infusion.
Supervise and administer IV infusion and injections for patients with chronic illnesses.
Assist in the preparation of biologics.
Educate patients about the risks, side effects, and benefits of the medication.
Discuss the plan of care between ordering providers and our infusion center.
Communicate with the referring provider regarding meeting the criteria for the medication and requesting necessary documents.
Review orders received, verify medical records and diagnostic tests to support diagnosis and treatment.
Review pertinent labs, reports, and medications tried and failed.
Making sure nursing notes are reviewed for accuracy and all patient charts are finalized at the end of each shift.
Keep the Medical Director & VP of Clinical Affairs abreast of all clinical updates and issues.
Assist in managing registered nurses and other staff with issues that may arise in the clinic.
Accountability of all medication and Med-Surg. supplies within the infusion center.

minimum of 2 years of infusion experience in specialty infusion therapy including patient assessment skills, various venous access skills and emergency patient care.
current NP license in good standing with all governing bodies.
CRNI preferred, IGCN desirable.
Graduate of an approved accredited Nurse Practitioner program with National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or post-master level certificate in pediatrics.
Current basic life support/AED & ACLS certification.
Minimum two years of experience in a hospital, clinic, and/or ambulatory setting caring for children and adults.
Must be comfortable in emergency situations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrates leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Other Skills
Computer skills and experience with EMR.
Comfortable starting IVs.
Be able to recognize and manage an infusion reaction appropriately.
Travel Requirement: up to 40% of the time
The hourly pay range for this role is expected to be between $60-$70. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
