The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community integration to foster independence. They are responsible for monitoring safety, implementing care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation of health and behavioral progress.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid Michigan driver's license. The role requires the physical ability to lift 50 lbs and the capacity to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) supports the individual goals of the person served and helps them become integrated into his/ her community in the least restrictive manner. The DSP may assist in areas of mobility, activities of daily living, communication, cognition, health management, social networking, vocational, leisure time management, and community participation.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) - 1st & 2nd Shift Full Time - Bay Valley
