The Kennel Worker is responsible for the daily care, feeding, and monitoring of boarding and hospitalized pets. They also maintain the cleanliness of the facility and assist the medical team with various husbandry tasks.
Candidates should be comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and capable of working in a physically active environment. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and availability for weekends and holidays are required.
As a Kennel Assistant, you will help provide excellent care for pets staying in our hospital. This includes feeding, cleaning, walking dogs, monitoring pets for changes, and ensuring every pet is comfortable and safe. You will also help maintain cleanliness throughout the hospital and support the medical team when needed.
