The dental assistant provides clinical support during oral surgeries, including monitoring vital signs and IV sedation. They are also responsible for preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing patient instructions.
Candidates must possess the required state certifications, licensure, or registration for dental assisting. Strong verbal communication skills and knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology are essential.
