Assists medical staff with surgical and endoscopy procedures while managing surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment. Serves as a clinical preceptor for students and provides expert support across at least five surgical specialty areas.
Requires a technical program certificate in Surgical Technology or Licensed Practical Nursing and current BLS certification. Candidates must have at least five years of progressive surgical tech experience, with CVOR experience preferred.
Education Technical Program Surgical Technologist or Technical Program Licensed Practical Nurse Program Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association Certified Surgical Technologists through National Board of Surgical Technology or Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Certified Surgical Technologists through Association of Surgical Technologist (AST) or Certified Surgical Technologists through National Certified Surgical Technician (NCST) Work Experience 5 years of progressive surgical tech experience CVOR experience preferred
