The primary responsibility is assisting in healthcare delivery by conducting pre-visit planning, preparing patients for examination by taking vital signs and updating records, and providing other directed patient care services like cleaning rooms and giving injections. The role also involves communicating with the care team regarding patient status, managing supplies, and performing necessary administrative tasks.
Candidates must possess a High School degree or equivalent, and current certification as a Medical Assistant from an accepted accredited organization is required. Two years of experience in a similar healthcare setting and customer service experience are preferred, along with current BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire.
