The Medical Technologist performs and documents laboratory tests, quality control, and maintenance procedures according to established policies. They also manage daily lab operations, including specimen processing, results reporting, and maintaining efficient workflow while ensuring patient safety.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science and possess a valid Medical Technologist certification (ASCP or AMT). Applicants must also demonstrate competency in various laboratory disciplines and adhere to governmental and accrediting agency standards.
12 hour shifts-6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. including weekends and holidays as needed.
Position is responsible for performing various laboratory tests/procedures as assigned.
