Physical Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, function, and independent self-care. They utilize specialty programs focusing on balance, fall prevention, and joint replacement recovery.
Candidates must hold a current Physical Therapist license in the state of employment and possess a valid driver's license with auto insurance. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.
Schedule patients to branch field clinicians. Communicate with field staff, patients, physicians, referral sources, caregivers, and other service providers in order to maintain proper care coordination and continuity of care. Manage the on-call notebook and hospitalization logs to enhance communication among stakeholders.
