The Polysomnographic Technologist conducts sleep studies, performs technical scoring of sleep events, and provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services. They also assist in overseeing supply inventory and mentoring staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must be a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and a Respiratory Therapist (RRT). The role requires expertise in sleep disorder evaluation and the ability to manage various diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
