The Cath Lab Technician is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing procedures that require radiation exposure for imaging studies, ensuring proper shielding is used for both patient and staff safety. The technician must maintain competence in a sterile environment and utilize all relevant Cath Lab equipment and supplies, while also being available for call status with a 30-minute response time.
Applicants must possess a degree from an accredited school of Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology and hold required licenses including ARRT or CVT, Texas State TMB registration, BLS, and ACLS certifications. A minimum of one year of experience is required, with previous Cath Lab experience being preferred.

Minimum Education Must posses a degree from an accredited school of Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology Required Licenses [United States] Radiologic Technologist and Technician ARRT or CVT Texas State: TMB - Registered Technologist BLS -- 3 months ACLS -- 6 months Minimum Work Experience Minimum 1 year. Previous Cath Lab experience preferred.
