The MRI Tech performs technical procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging while collaborating with radiologists and other medical personnel. They are responsible for coordinating daily MRI safety protocols and procedures within the hospital environment.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program and hold relevant certifications such as ARRT, MRTBE, or ARMRIT. At least one year of prior general radiology or MRI hospital experience is required, with three years preferred.
Works with the Radiologists and other personnel to perform technical procedures in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Coordinates with other departments the day-to-day activity for MRI safety and procedures.
