The Pharmacy Technician provides support in the medication management clinic by gathering prescription information and assisting with patient registration. They also manage insurance authorizations, billing issues, and follow up with patients to ensure care compliance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of ambulatory care pharmacy experience. Current New Jersey pharmacy technician registration or eligibility is required, along with PTCB certification or extensive hospital pharmacy experience.
