The Certified Surgical Spine Technologist is responsible for scrubbing for spinal procedures and maintaining the sterile field. They manage spine-specific instrumentation and implants while collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program and possess 1-2 years of operating room experience. Prior experience in spine surgery and CST certification are strongly preferred.

The Certified Surgical Spine Technologist scrubs for spinal surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
