The Organ Recovery Surgeon surgically recovers abdominal organs for transplantation and research while providing education to hospital staff. They also manage on-call responsibilities and ensure compliance with medical, legal, and regulatory standards.
Candidates must be a board-certified MD or DO in general surgery with at least 5 years of experience in organ recovery or critical care. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to manage on-call duties.

Tennessee Donor Services is seeking a board-certified Organ Recovery Surgeon to assist with the clinical, operational and research activities.
For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
Sierra Donor Services and Tennessee Donor Services with operations in the states of California, New Mexico, and Tennessee. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank.
