The therapist will conduct patient assessments to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. They will also facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions while participating in the discharge and relapse prevention process.
Candidates must hold a current state of Georgia licensure in a mental health-related field. One to two years of experience in mental health or substance abuse is strongly preferred.
Conducts assessments to document history and to develop and implement a plan of treatment. Conducts sessions for patients and family members on a consistent basis and reflects adequate preparation. Demonstrates the ability to deliver individual, couples, family and group therapy utilizing the 12-step philosophy. Participates in Discharge Process per the relapse prevention plan with patients and their family members to make appropriate family recommendations Education and Experience - State of Georgia Licensure in a mental health related field is required. 1-2 years of experience in mental health or substance abuse field strongly preferred.
