The technician is responsible for compounding hazardous and non-hazardous medications, including chemotherapy, and managing the distribution and stocking of pharmacy supplies. They must also document medication distribution accurately while adhering to safety and quality standards within the infusion center.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and be a registered Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. The role requires strong pharmacy math skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
