The Certified Medical Assistant supports multiple outpatient clinics by performing multi-skilled activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. They ensure consistent, high-quality patient care while adapting to diverse clinical settings across the ambulatory network.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited medical assisting program. A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and one of the listed professional certifications (AMT, AAMA, NHA, MedCA, or NAHP/NCCT) are required.

The Certified Medical Assistant reports to the Outpatient Clinic Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Medical Assistant performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
