The Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for carrying out patient treatment plans as directed by the supervising occupational therapist. They must provide patient care and treatments while continuously improving their clinical knowledge and skills.
Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and possess a valid Texas State Occupational Therapy Assistant License. A current CPR certification is required, and one year of progressively responsible experience is preferred.
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Therapy Assistant. One (1) year progressively responsible experience performing occupational therapy assistant functions preferred. TX State Occupational Therapy Assistant License required. Current CPR certification required. Continued employment is contingent on successfully maintaining current required certification(s) and/or license(s).
