The Medical Assistant provides medical support to individuals in mental health programs, including coordinating medications, medical appointments, and billing. They also perform vital signs and physical measurements while maintaining accurate medical records and office organization.
Candidates must hold a Certified Medical Assistant Certificate or an Associate Degree in Medical Assisting. A valid PA driver's license, reliable vehicle, and successful completion of criminal and drug background checks are required.
Description Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a human service agency supporting people with disabilities is actively seeking an energetic, team-oriented professional to join our team in the Mental Health Services Department.
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing medical support to individuals in assigned Mental Health Programs. The Medical Assistant will coordinate, schedule, and accompany individuals to medical services in the community and provide designated team members with information to ensure continuity of services and treatment.
Threshold is closed on major Holidays, so these are great work hours with paid Holidays off starting day one of employment!!

Certified Medical Assistant Certificate or Associates Degree in Medical Assisting. Strong organizational skills required. Computer knowledge is a must.
