The pharmacist will interpret physician prescriptions and provide drug information to patients and medical staff. Additionally, they will consult with patients regarding new medications and manage the filling and processing of wholesale orders.
Candidates must hold a PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited university. Two or more years of administrative pharmacy experience is considered helpful for this role.
Description The Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute, the only Federally Recognized Hemophilia Treatment Center of Excellence south of Chicago, is hiring a PRN Pharmacist. Our ideal candidate will work on average 4-8 hours per month as well as provide on-call coverage for approximately one week per month. Duties include but are not limited to: interpreting physician prescriptions and medication orders, acting as a drug information resource to patients, medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary department personnel, consulting with patients as needed regarding new medication(s) and or dosage changes, filling and processing of wholesale orders.

The PRN pharmacist will qualify for our 401(k) plan once required work hours are met.
$60.00 - $75.00 depending on years of experience On-Call Rate: $500 per week (call-ins are rare)
