The Behavioral Health Technician supports the therapeutic milieu by supervising patients, ensuring safety, and facilitating psychoeducational groups. They also perform delegated clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, documenting care, and assisting with patient admissions and discharges.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain Basic Life Support and de-escalation certifications within 30 days of hire. Previous experience in a psychiatric or healthcare facility is preferred, and a CNA license is considered a plus.
