Researches and provides information on the surveillance and evaluation of communicable and chronic diseases. Assists in planning and implementing epidemiological programs to prevent and control health conditions within the Cherokee Nation population.
Requires a Master's degree in Public Health, Biology, Medical, or Health Science and at least one year of related experience. Candidates must not be under sanction by the OIG or GSA.
Researches and provides up-to-date information regarding the surveillance, investigation and evaluation of communicable or chronic diseases, injuries or conditions. Assists in the planning and implementation of epidemiological programs to prevent and control diseases, injuries, or conditions affecting the health of the Cherokee Nation's Indian population. Provides technical assistance and support to Cherokee Nation staff, and to various local, state, and federal agencies within the boundaries of their competence, based on their documented education, training, supervised experience, state and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience.
