The Echo Technician performs various diagnostic cardiac procedures including 2D, Doppler, and Stress Echocardiograms while maintaining high-quality technical standards. They are responsible for documenting data in the EMR, maintaining equipment, and reporting significant abnormal findings to cardiologists.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of previous Echo Lab experience. Proficiency in EKG interpretation and a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics are required.
