The role of the Urgent Care Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is to provide care to children from birth through young adulthood. This includes managing common pediatric acute injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions while supporting each patient’s primary care medical home.
Candidates must have at least one year of previous APP practice involving pediatrics, as new graduates will not be considered. Licensure and certification requirements vary based on whether the applicant is a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
