The Peer Support Specialist provides direct support to adults with serious mental illness to promote recovery, wellness, and community integration. Responsibilities include developing recovery plans, teaching coping strategies, and maintaining accurate client documentation.
Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and possess a Peer Support certification issued by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and the ability to pass a criminal background check are also required.
Must complete 20 hours of supervision within their first 6 months. After the 6-month recertification providers are required to renew on an annual basis and complete 10 CEUS one of which must be ethics.
Job Type: Part-time to full time
