The Dentist is responsible for providing primary dental services, diagnosing oral diseases, and planning appropriate treatments for patients. They also participate in quality improvement programs and provide oversight and mentoring to dental staff and residents.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from an accredited school. They must also be able to obtain a dental license in Delaware and possess a Basic Life Support certification.

Westside Family Healthcare is a nonprofit organization that provides high quality primary medical care without regard to ability to pay. The Dentist is a member of the clinical team and works closely with the Chief Medical Officer to integrate primary medical care with oral health services. The Dentist is responsible for primary dental services for patients of Westside Family Healthcare. All activities are carried out within the scope of organizational policies and procedures as established by the Board of Directors and under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

Graduate of an accredited school of dentistry with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Dental Medicine Ability to obtain license in Delaware Licensing requirements have changed!
