The nurse is responsible for performing comprehensive assessments and delivering care to neonates with complications in the Special Care Nursery. This includes monitoring vital signs, documenting patient progress via Focus Charting, and instructing parents on follow-up care.
Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Delaware with at least an Associate's Degree in Nursing and 2-3 years of NICU or Special Care Nursery experience. BLS certification is required, and NRP certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
