The Mammography Technologist performs imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries while maintaining high accuracy in positioning and exposure. They are responsible for providing outstanding patient care, educating women on preventative breast health, and supporting the general operation of the office.
Candidates must have completed a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current ARRT certification in Radiography and Mammography. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree and two years of mammography experience preferred.

The Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. This position is critical to Solis Mammography; by providing outstanding care and efficient results, the technologist impacts the profitability of the organization as well as the patient experience.
