• We are looking for motivated and compassionate Student Behavioral Associates (SBA) to join our IHAP team!
• In this hands-on role, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide vital medical and psychiatric care to patients.

• Position Specifics: Work Schedule: Casual position, primarily weekend shifts: day/evening/night weekends Will include rotating holidays.

Responsibilities

Patient Care & Assistance: Assists with physical care, clinical interventions & daily activities. Documentation & Communication: Document in medical records. Communicate with treatment team regarding patient observations & care. Safety & Crisis Management: Maintain a safe environment. Effectively manage crises using positive approaches. Team Participation & Environment Maintenance: Participate in interdisciplinary meetings. Ensure a safe & clean milieu. Professional Development: Stay up to date on technology, best practices and hospital compliance policies.

• Current full-time enrollment in an accredited school in healthcare related baccalaureate (Nursing and Psychology preferred). Other majors will be considered.
• OR- Current full-time enrollment in a diploma, Associate, or Bachelor level nursing program. Must be available and agree to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to work overtime as required.
