The Medical Assistant will provide compassionate patient care, including preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, and documenting medical information. They will also assist providers with the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses while promoting healthy lifestyles and wellness.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a relevant medical assistant certification or licensure such as CMA, RMA, CCMA, or LPN. At least one year of recent experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN is preferred.
Part-time, 80% FTE, day shift. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one (1) day off per week. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay.
