Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of work experience. The role requires specific certifications such as CPR, Serv-Safe, and Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor certification.
The Salvation Army Midtown Service and Treatment Center is looking for a part-time Treatment Support Specialist. This individual will monitor all activities associated with the Substance Abuse Program including Detox, Residential, and Outpatient Treatment Programs. They will also perform duties of an Associate Substance Abuse Counselor and related duties to maintain a safe, clean, and healthy therapeutic environment, assisting clients with achieving their therapeutic goals.
This is a part-time, 24 hours per week position, with a starting wage of $15.00 per hour. The Salvation Army Midtown Service and Treatment Center.

Hepatitis A vaccine documentation required by the City of St. Louis Health Department. Annual TB test. Current CPR certificate. Serv-Safe Certification. Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor Certification (for all daytime staff performing groups).
Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include using a computer, answering phones, etc. Occasionally lifts 20 pounds and sometimes up to 40 pounds. Most work will be indoors in a temperature control environment.
