Salary
$48 - $54 / HOUR
Provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, treatment planning, and periodontal therapy. Educate patients on oral health and perform clinical procedures such as prophylaxis and medication application.
Requires a valid Dental Hygienist license and CPR/AED certification. Experience with culturally diverse communities and proficiency in a second language are preferred.

Why Work for Us Enjoy meaningful work in a collaborative environment that fosters professional growth Provide culturally sensitive oral health care, preventive education, professional training, and advocate for access for all $3.00 per hour differential for working PM shift at the Maplewood clinic Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist’s treatment plan Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments. Provide nutritional counseling Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents Qualifications Dental Hygienist license CPR/AED certification Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred Proficiency in a second language preferred Maplewood Clinic PM Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:20pm-9:30pm Friday 12:50pm-5:30pm *Let us know what days/hours within this schedule works for you.
