Provide anonymous and confidential testing and counseling for HIV, HCV, and other STIs for priority populations. Conduct community outreach and education sessions while documenting all activities in internal data systems.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and experience working with HIV/AIDS, PrEP, and substance abuse issues. Preferred qualifications include HIV Prevention Certified Provider or CHES certification and a valid driver's license.

The Specialist, Prevention is responsible for providing anonymous and confidential testing for HIV, Hepatitis C (HCV), syphilis, and other sexually transmitted infections (STI). We aim to ensure everyone feels comfortable seeking counselling and testing services. You will have the opportunity to provide prevention education services, engage in syringe access programming (where applicable), and work with priority populations such as gay/bisexual/same-gender loving cisgender men, people of trans experience, and people who inject drugs (PWID). By offering these services, we hope to create a welcoming and non-judgmental environment using harm reduction strategies.

$24.00/hourly (Depending on Experience)
The final salary will be determined based on factors such as market data, internal equity, candidate experience and qualifications. Please note that it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range.
