The Certified Nursing Assistant provides essential nonprofessional patient care, including cleaning, feeding, and preparing patients for treatment. They are also responsible for recording vital signs and assisting nursing personnel under close supervision.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid CNA licensure. No prior experience is required, but strong communication and customer service skills are expected.
The Certified Nursing Assistant performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with patient cleaning, feeding, and preparation for treatment, takes and records vital signs, changes bed linen, prepares treatment trays and other supplies, and assists nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties. Relies on established guidelines to accomplish tasks. Works under close supervision.
