The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans for communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders. They also provide therapeutic interventions, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have completed a Clinical Fellowship Year. A current state license and Basic Life Support certification are required, with preference given to those holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required. Licenses/Certifications Current licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in applicable state Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within time frame required by facility policy Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred VitalStim certification preferred. Experience One (1) year of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred.
