Occupational Health Assistant Job Description Occupational Medicine Assistant assists Occupational Health providers and clinical staff by obtaining and coordinating information necessary to complete the Occupational Health Drug Screen and Physical process and provides support to both clinical and clerical staff as needed.

Required
HS Diploma; ABR-OE Certification within 2 years of hire; 2 years of established health care experience in the last 3 years (preferred).
Pay
- Based on experience, starting at $16.94 Responsibilities Assists with batch entry of client billing, Collects chain of custody and CDL drug screens and performs breath alcohol screens, and Audiograms , Collects chain of custody and CDL drug screens and performs breath alcohol screens, and Audiograms , Coordinates patient’s follow-up care for specialists, physical and occupational therapy, and diagnostic studies including attempts to obtain prior authorizations., Coordinates patient’s follow-up care for specialists, physical and occupational therapy, and diagnostic studies including attempts to obtain prior authorizations., Coordinates the EScreen program within the clinic including educating the clinic staff., Offers training and feedback to staff (of staff’s manager) working in locations outside of OM such as the Emergency Department, Walk In Clinics, or outlying clinics that provide drug and breath alcohol screens., Performs initial patient interviews prepares drug-screening charts for resulting, and results drug screens to companies., Performs on-site services for companies such as drug and alcohol screening, pulmonary function screening, Supervisor Training, etc., Performs on-site services for companies such as drug and alcohol screening, pulmonary function screening, Supervisor Training, etc., Performs vision screenings, assists with other procedures based on orders, and provides discharge education and instructions., Prepares charts for discharge to Medical Records.,
